Overview

Ronald Hatcher is a member in Dickinson Wright's Phoenix office. Ronald represents national, regional and local clients in all aspects of real estate transactions for nearly 20 years, with a special emphasis on commercial retail development, leasing and financing. Significant experience in redevelopments/repositionings of shopping centers, acquisitions/dispositions of commercial developments, entitlements/zoning, development agreements, historic certifications, and all types of leases (ground leases, anchor leases, build-to-suits, in-line, restaurant, entertainment and hospitality).

Prominent Assignments

Served as lead counsel for redevelopment, and subsequent sale, of 1.3 mil square foot shopping center and conversion to outdoor power center

Served as lead counsel for sale of 1.1 mil square foot shopping center to national REIT

Represented regional developer in acquisition of nationally registered historic restructure, redevelopment to mixed use development (retail and residential), and subsequent sale

Represented national tenant in successful negotiation of 10 leases in four states involving multiple lenders as part of tenant national expansion

Represented developer in negotiation of $50mil non-recourse construction financing for redevelopment project

Negotiated joint venture and related development/operating agreements between national homebuilder, national retail developer and state university
