Overview

Ms. Myers is Of Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. She focuses her practice on IP trademark development, enforcement and prosecution matters, and also has experience in Entertainment Law. Ms. Myers has negotiated over 50 trademark, copyright, rights of publicity and other IP disputes.

Prominent Assignments

Prosecuted administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Recovered infringing Internet domain names through Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy proceedings.

Negotiated and prepared intellectual property licenses, assignments, settlement and co-existence agreements.

Prepared Internet-related documents including website terms of use, privacy policies and software and user license agreements.

Negotiation of trademark, copyright, rights of publicity and other intellectual property disputes.

Collaborated with litigation team and assisted in drafting court documents for trademark infringement and cybersquatting actions.

Researched and prepared motions, memoranda of points and authorities and court documents.
