Experienced in counseling corporate clients regarding contracts, business and real estate transactions, employment matters, protection of intellectual property and trade secrets, corporate governance and shareholder relations, licensing and regulatory matters, and litigation-avoidance strategies.

After bench trial, obtained a 5 year injunction and more than $2 million in damages for violation of a non-compete agreement and conversion of business assets.

Prevailed in the arbitration of a complex shareholder dispute and obtained a $900,000 award for our client while fully defeating counter-claims of $8.5 million.

Successfully represented managing entities of surgery centers involving disputes over lease and management agreements.

Successfully defended major financial institutions against tort and statutory claims brought by mortgagors and consumers.

Counseled and represented commercial landlords in resolving leasehold disputes, including complex, contested litigation to regain possession.

Counseled corporate clients on issues relative to class actions pending in state and federal courts.

Successfully advised and represented publishers and both public and private figures regarding defamation claims, including obtaining speedy dismissal of a defamation action filed against on-air talent.
