Attorney Will Shearer Joins Dickinson Wright's Columbus Office

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Will Shearer has joined the firm’s Columbus office as Of Counsel.

Mr. Shearer focuses his practice in the business and corporate law areas, with primary emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint venture structuring, and matters related to choice of entity and corporate governance. He also has significant experience working with regulated businesses and non-profit/tax-exempt organizations, both in an executive capacity and as outside counsel.

Mr. Shearer has represented both publicly traded and privately held companies in various matters, including purchases, sales, and business combinations, changes in corporate control, preparation of stock option and other equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans, negotiation of executive employment agreements, and preparation of a variety of types of agreements among business owners and joint ventures. He has also represented public companies in a variety of matters, including the preparation and filing of registration statements, periodic reporting and disclosure requirements, and rules and regulations applicable to reporting persons under Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Mr. Shearer received his B.A. and M.A. from Clemson University and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
