Timothy H. Howlett Reelected to State Bar Labor and Employment Law Section Council

Dickinson Wright Member Timothy H. Howlett has been reelected to the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Law Section Council. It will be his second two-year term. Howlett is based in the Detroit office of Dickinson Wright, where he is Director of the firm's labor and employment, immigration, employee benefits and education practice groups. His areas of practice emphasis are labor and employment relations and alternative dispute resolution. His experience includes numerous jury trials defending wrongful termination, race discrimination, disability discrimination, sex discrimination and religious discrimination claims, including high-profile litigation covered by news media including The New York Times and 20/20. Howlett is a member of the American Employment Law Council; a member of the EEOC Mediation Program Advisory Board; a member of the Employment Committee of the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution; and a case evaluator for the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal Employment Panel. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to labor and employment law and discrimination.
