Three Dickinson Wright Attorneys Quoted in Legal News Article on Religion in the Workplace

In an article titled “Law Firm Hosts Seminar on Religion in the Workplace” published by Macomb County Legal News, Attorneys George P. Butler III, Kathryn S. Wood, and Jennifer L. Newby talked about their Sunrise Seminar “Employers Shalt Not Discriminate: Religion in the Workplace”.

In the seminar, held in early October, the attorneys talked about what constitutes a religious practice, what must an employer do to accommodate and how to minimize your company’s risk. They also discussed learning how to walk the line between accommodating religious beliefs and how the prevention of harassment and discrimination claims is becoming more complicated in today’s political climate.
