Dickinson Wright Attorney Thomas G. McNeill Appointed Trustee of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Foundation

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Thomas G. McNeill has been appointed a trustee of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Foundation.

Mr. McNeill is a trial lawyer resident in the firm’s Detroit office. In addition to his class action defense work, he focuses his practice on business and financial litigation, including in the areas of securities, mergers & acquisitions, accounting, private equity and financial institutions. He is recognized as a leader in the field by Best Lawyers in America (four litigation disciplines and 2013-14 Lawyer of the Year in mergers & acquisition litigation), Chambers USA, Benchmark: Litigation and Michigan Super Lawyers (Top 100 in the State since 2010) By the appointment of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, Mr. McNeill serves on the State Appellate Defender Commission, he serves as President of the DMBA Inn of Court and is the immediate past President of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from the University of Virginia.

The Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Foundation (DMBAF) supports a diverse mix of programming and advocacy including the Detroit Legal Services Clinic, which provides free legal assistance to people in need, the Pro-Bono Mentorship Program, and For the Seventh Generation, which matches donations of services and goods to needy foster children in the metro Detroit area.
