Columbus Attorney Terrence O’Donnell was recently quoted in an article by the Toledo Free Press titled “Green Energy Ohio brings solar business workshop to Toledo”. During Ohio’s Big Solar Business Workshop, he spoke on a panel discussing the policy issues facing large scale solar in Ohio.

“There are a lot of policymakers in Columbus who just don’t get it when it comes to renewable energy. There are some who want to stop clean energy advancement in Ohio,” he said.

Ohio’s Big Solar Business Workshop was an in-depth seminar discussing Ohio’s largest solar arrays and the emerging issue of community solar projects. The seminar was held on March 27th at the Toledo Museum of Art’s Glass Pavilion.

A thirteen-year Government Relations practitioner, Mr. O’Donnell has represented energy interests in Ohio going back a decade. He focuses his practice on public policy advocacy at the statehouse and regulatory compliance at the Public Utilities Commission. He represents all manner of energy interests but has developed the state’s premiere practice in renewables and energy efficiency. He represents multiple companies, developers, manufacturers, trade groups and nonprofits focused on advanced energy before the Ohio General Assembly, Governor’s Office, and state executive agencies. His clients have developed Ohio’s largest wind farms, solar arrays, and energy efficient solutions.
