Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to welcome Rebeccah Gan as an associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, where she will focus her practice on intellectual property law. Gan joins Dickinson Wright from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia, where she had been a trademark examining attorney since January 2005. From 2001 - 2004 she was a law clerk at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, Office of Bar Counsel, Washington, D.C. She was an intellectual property law clerk at the Office of the General Counsel, American National Red Cross, Washington, D.C., from May 2000 - December 2001. Gan earned a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Michigan, as well as a J.D. degree from the Washington College of Law, American University, Washington, D.C., where she was the recipient of the Judge Seymour Korn Scholarship and the Washington College of Law Alumna Scholarship, and was the critical essays editor of the American University International Law Review. She is a member of the New York Bar, and the Intellectual Property Law sections of the District of Columbia Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
