Ann Arbor Office Grows to Nearly 20 Attorneys DETROIT, Mich. (May 23, 2006) – Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Raymond J. Vivacqua to its intellectual property team. Mr. Vivacqua has joined the firm as Of Counsel and will be the third Intellectual Property attorney located in the Firm's Ann Arbor office at 301 E. Liberty. With 30 attorneys principally practicing in IP-related areas, Dickinson Wright is now one of the largest full-service providers of intellectual property and patent services in the state. In the last three months, Dickinson Wright has expanded its Intellectual Property practice by 12 attorneys - a near 100% growth rate. In addition, the firm has established an intellectual property training program led by Hal Milton, a patent attorney with more than 40 years of experience in patent preparation, prosecution, and licensing. Raymond J. Vivacqua specializes in the protection of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical inventions in the United States and in other countries. Mr. Vivacqua has significant experience drafting intellectual property licensing, joint development and confidentiality agreements and has defended and counseled clients regarding patent litigation and intellectual property enforcement. He has nearly eight years of product design and development experience as an automotive engineer for electro-mechanical and electronic sensors and control modules. Mr. Vivacqua comes to Dickinson Wright from the law firm of Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione. He graduated with a B.S.M.E. from Pennsylvania State University, received an M.S. in Electronics and Computer Controls from Wayne State University and earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.
