DETROIT, Mich., (June 29, 2006) – Dickinson Wright attorney Michelle L. Alamo recently received her Construction Industry Technician (CIT) certification from the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Education Foundation, in conjunction with Clemson University. To receive the CIT certification, an applicant must complete a study of the fundamentals of construction processes and procedures and pass the CIT test developed and monitored by Clemson University. Michelle's CIT certification acknowledges her accomplishment of having attained a higher professional level in the construction industry. Michelle L. Alamo practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation and construction in the Firm's Detroit office. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and of the Michigan and Detroit Metropolitan Bar Associations. Michelle is also a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction. She received her B.S.E.E. from Kettering University and her J.D. (summa cum laude) from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
