Michael Schaldenbrand Joins Intellectual Property Practice

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (February 4, 2004)—Dickinson Wright PLLC recently announced that Michael Schaldenbrand has joined the Firm’s Bloomfield Hills office as Of Counsel.
Mr. Schaldenbrand is a patent attorney with experience in all aspects of intellectual property practice, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, drafting of licensing and other agreements, portfolio management, patent validity and infringement studies, product clearance reviews, design-around studies, and opinion work. His experience includes high stakes patent litigation for both large and small companies, primarily in the computer industry. Previously, Mr. Schaldenbrand was an in-house patent attorney for Ford Motor Company, having primary responsibility for electrical and electronics technology.
Mr. Schaldenbrand holds a B.S.E. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering (summa cum laude) and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (cum laude), where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and California and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
