Attorney Michael Raymond Quoted in Crain's Detroit Business Article on IPOs

May 29, 2014
Recently, Attorney Michael Raymond was quoted in the Crain’s Detroit Business article “IPO: The offering that can re-fuse…and has” discussing the increase in initial public offerings in Michigan.

He mentions that there is an overall pent-up demand for IPOs and that “it’s a good time to be in the capital markets.” Dickinson Wright’s national securities practice is heating up as well with seven offerings in the works for this year. Mr. Raymond, head of the firm’s securities practice, predicts that the time will be right for IPOs for the next 18 months to two years and that the firm, along with its partner Roth Capital, will do a road show this year to get the word out to company CEOs and CFOs about why it is the right time to go public.
