March 19, 2014
Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Attorney Joseph McKinney has been re-elected as the 2014 President of the Napier-Looby Bar Foundation Board of Directors.

Mr. McKinney served in the same position in 2013. He will continue his efforts to leverage the organization’s mission to increase access to the legal profession for minority students and raise awareness of legal careers in the minority community.

“We’re proud to see Joseph develop into a strong leader within Nashville’s legal community, especially at such a young age,” said Tom Donnell, managing partner of Dickinson Wright’s Nashville office. “I commend his commitment and passion for serving the community and the legal profession, and am excited to see his contributions unfold.”

The foundation also appointed Shameak Blevitt (Baker Donelson) as Vice President of the board, and John Manson (Special Master, 8th Circuit Court Davidson County) as Treasurer of the board. William Stover (solo practitioner), Billye Sanders (Dockery & Associates), Danelle Walker (solo practitioner) and Rodney Caldwell (Law offices of James Flexer) were elected as board members.

All officers were elected for a one-year term.
