J. Bryan Williams Elected Chairman of National Club Association

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - Attorney J. Bryan Williams of Dickinson Wright PLLC was elected chairman of the National Club Association at NCA's annual meeting on May 18, 2002. The NCA, headquartered in Washington, D.C., is the only trade association representing the business, legal, and legislative interests of private social, recreational, and athletic clubs. "Bryan brings a unique understanding of legal and legislative issues that affect clubs," said NCA President Susanne R. Wegrzyn. "Under his leadership, NCA is looking forward to increased visibility and a stronger presence on Capitol Hill. At the same time, we look forward to building stronger partnerships within the industry to better involve our members at the grass roots level." Williams, past CEO of Dickinson Wright, has practiced law for over 30 years, specializing in corporate and municipal finance law. He also serves as president of the United States Law Firm Group and as chairman of the Political Action Committee of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
