DETROIT, Mich. (April 21, 2006) – Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of James G. Aldrich as a Member in the Firm's Immigration Practice. Mr. Aldrich specializes in a full range of immigration issues, including H-1B, E, F, J, K, L-1A and B, PERM and "green card" applications and citizenship matters. He also provides counseling to closely held and family businesses in the areas of corporate, international and business planning. Mr. Aldrich will be resident in the Firm's Bloomfield Hills office. Mr. Aldrich received a B.A. from Michigan State University and his J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serves on the Bloomfield Township Zoning Board of Appeals. Dickinson Wright's Immigration Practice encompasses all aspects of the international movement of personnel, including the maintenance and extension of work visas for foreign nationals working in the United States, employer obligations under the employment verification system and the prohibitions of immigration related employment discrimination, and the immigration related consequences of corporate mergers, acquisitions and restructurings on an employer's foreign national workforce.
