Attorney Fang Liu Joins Dickinson Wright's China Practice

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorney Fang Liu has joined the firm’s China practice. She will be based in the firm’s Ann Arbor office and travel extensively between the U.S. and China.

Ms. Liu brings over nine years of legal experience in China and the U.S. to Dickinson Wright. She will focus her practice on serving Chinese and American companies in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, securities regulations, venture capital, private equity, real estate, and general commercial and employment matters. Prior to joining Dickinson Wright, Ms. Liu served as lead in-house counsel to Stellar MegaMedia Group Corporation, then the largest privately held media company in China, and practiced law at Beijing Tianchi Hongfan, a large law firm in China where she counseled clients on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and large-scale real estate transactions.

Ms. Liu recently finished an internship with the Honorable Judge Christopher P. Yates of the Kent County Circuit Business Court in Michigan, and she previously externed with Honorable Justice Stephen J. Markman of the Michigan Supreme Court. Ms. Liu received her LL.B. from Peking University School of Law, the most prestigious law school in China, and her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she was in the top 1% of her class (2 out of 438) and received the highest score in 19 classes. Ms. Liu received her LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, with Certificate of Specialization in Business Law. She is admitted to practice law in China, Michigan, New York, California, and Washington, D.C.
