Estate Planning Expert Henry M. Grix to Speak at Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants Conference

Henry M. Grix, an estate planning attorney with Dickinson Wright PLLC, will speak at the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) 2008 Small Practitioners Conference on August 21-22, 2008 at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids. The 31st annual Conference is a part of MACPA's Continuing Professional Education for certified public accounts. The two-day event will feature experience exchange workshops, ethics sessions and keynote speakers who are leaders in their field. Mr. Grix will speak on estate planning for "non-traditional" families and how it affects income, estate and gift tax planning, and transfers. Other topics discussed at the Conference include: Predictions & Realities in the Small Practitioner Marketplace, Hot Trends in Accounting and Small Firm Focus on the Profession. He focuses his practice on estate planning, trusts and taxation. He received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Michigan and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He also served as a former Chair on the Probate and Estate Planning Council of the State Bar of Michigan, Probate and Estate Planning Section.
