Employee Benefits Attorneys Hold Seminar to Discuss Administration of 401(k) Plans

Dickinson Wright PLLC experts in employee benefits law will present a seminar, "401(k) and Section 125 Plan Update: New Rules on the Horizon" on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in Dickinson Wright's Grand Rapids office. This seminar will focus on the following aspects of a 401(k) and Section 125 Plan updates: - Administration of 401(k) Plans, including: how to limit fiduciary liability through the use of participant investment elections and qualified default investments; how automatic enrollment can help plans pass the ADP test; and proposed Department of Labor fee disclosure rules. - Addressing medical plan expenses through the use of a Cafeteria/125 Plan, including review of the proposed Code Section 125 regulations that govern: pre-tax premium payments; flexible spending accounts, both medical and dependent care; and midyear election changes. The seminar will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. There is a $20 fee to attend and lunch is included.
