Edgar C. Howbert Elected National Director and Re-Appointed General Counsel of Turnaround Management Association

Dickinson Wright attorney Edgar C. Howbert has been elected a National Director and re-appointed as General Counsel of the Turnaround Management Association, an organization with over 6500 members worldwide involved in businesses and professions related to the restructuring of troubled companies. Howbert was named to the two positions at the organization's annual meeting in San Francisco. Howbert also serves as General Counsel to the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals, which is reponsible for certifying individuals in the turnaround profession as having met certain standards of knowledge and experience. He practices banking law, with a primary focus on bankruptcy-related issues, as a Member in Dickinson Wright's Detroit office. He also counsels clients on strategic issues related to mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation, and real estate.
