DETROIT, Mich.—The law firm of Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce and congratulate its seven newly elected Members of the Firm. Phillip J. DeRosier practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation, appellate litigation, medical malpractice defense, and insurance in the Firm's Detroit office. He earned his B.A. (with honors) from Michigan State University and his J.D. (magna cum laude) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Prior to joining the Firm, Phil served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, Appellate Practice Section and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jonathan S. Groat is resident in the Firm's Ann Arbor office. He concentrates his practice on all areas of commercial and business litigation, with particular emphasis on insurance litigation, telecommunications litigation, class actions, labor and employment relations matters, and bankruptcy litigation. Jonathan is a member of the American Bar Association, and is a graduate of the Leadership Ann Arbor program, which is facilitated by the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce. Jonathan received his A.B. (with honors) from the University of Chicago and his J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Illinois. He is admitted to practice in all state courts of Michigan, as well as the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan. Frank A. Hamidi practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation in the Firm's Detroit office. Frank is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar Association. He received his B.S. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. (cum laude) from the Indiana University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Kristi A. Katsma practices in the areas of reorganization and corporate law in the Firm's Detroit office. She has a B.S. (magna cum laude) from Western Michigan University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, past president of the Young Lawyers Association of Washtenaw County and is a current board member of Detroit Central City Community Mental Health. D. Lee Khachaturian practices in the areas of commercial, employment, and insurance litigation in the Firm's Detroit office. Lee earned her B.B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Michigan and her J.D. (cum laude) from Wayne State University Law School. Prior to joining the Firm, Lee served as a law clerk to the Honorable John Corbett O'Meara, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. Lee is admitted to practice in Michigan, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Jason P. Klingensmith concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation, including products liability litigation and franchise litigation in the Firm's Detroit office. He received his B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. Jason is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Ohio, and he is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Northern District of Ohio. Nicole M. Meyer is an intellectual property attorney in the Firm's Washington D.C. office. She focuses on trademark and copyright litigation, domain name disputes, and trademark prosecution, as well as counseling in connection with trademark portfolio strategy. Nicole has a B.A. from Amherst College and a J.D. from American University. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the State Bar of Virginia and the District of Columbia Bar.
