BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. ( January 23, 2004) – Peter H. Webster, a Member of Dickinson Wright PLLC, has been re-elected to serve as the Majority Caucus Chairperson of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, representing the City of Royal Oak.
The Board of Commissioners' responsibilities include adoption of the county budget and policies regarding the various county departments.
"I am both honored and humbled by my colleagues' faith in my past service to support my efforts for another year,” says Webster. “During the next term, we will take a leadership role to enhance Oakland County's well deserved reputation as an outstanding place to live, work and to raise a family."
Webster, who has been a corporate trial attorney for nearly 10 years, is serving his second term on the board. He is active in Southeast Michigan community and civic activities including the Michigan Association of Counties Board of Directors, Oakland County Business Roundtable, Oakland County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Oakland County, Leadership Detroit, and the Oakland County Bar Association. Webster is also active with local governance issues in Royal Oak, having served as City Commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem.
