DETROIT, Mich.—Dickinson Wright PLLC announced that it has expanded its litigation practice with the addition of three attorneys. In the Detroit office, Kevin M. Zielke joins as a Member of the Firm. In Lansing, Kathryn Falk Fehrman joins as Of Counsel and Allen L. Lanstra joins as an Associate.
Kevin M. Zielke is an experienced commercial litigator with a particular emphasis in the construction field, where his work runs from the negotiation and drafting of contracts, to handling all manner of construction disputes. Mr. Zielke also has substantial experience in a wide array of business litigation, including contract matters, business torts, sales commission cases and appellate practice in both federal and state courts. Mr. Zielke received his B.S. from Central Michigan University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan (cum laude).
Kathryn Falk Fehrman comes to Dickinson Wright with a variety of legal experience. She practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation, appellate matters, as well as real estate and probate litigation. Most recently, Mrs. Fehrman served as the Deputy Director for the Family Independence Agency in Lansing. Prior to that, she worked as the Assistant Prosecutor in the Saginaw County Prosecutor's Office. Mrs. Fehrman received her B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and her J.D. from University of Detroit School of Law.
Allen L. Lanstra, Jr. practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation as well as appellate litigation. Previously, Mr. Lanstra worked as a Trial Attorney in the Torts Branch of the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. Lanstra is also presently an adjunct professor of law at Michigan State University—Detroit College of Law. He received his B.A. from Michigan State University, his M.S. (magna cum laude) from Walsh College, and his J.D. (summa cum laude) from the Michigan State University—Detroit College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
