DETROIT, Mich.—Dickinson Wright today announced that the following new Associates have joined the Firm. Ann Arbor Anthony P. Ferman practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation and corporate law. He was a Summer Associate for the Firm in 2003. He received both his B.A. (with high distinction) and J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan. Bloomfield Hills Stephen M. Guerra practices in the area of real estate law. He has a B.A. from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School (Order of the Coif), where he was a member of the Law Review. He is a member of the American Bar Association. Dora (Dodi) H. June practices in the area of commercial real estate. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an Associate with Sutherland Asbill & Brennan in Atlanta, Georgia. Dodi received her B.A. from Western Michigan University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. David P. Massaron practices in the areas of municipal law and finance, and banking and financial services. He was a Summer Associate with the Firm in 2003. He has a B.A. from James Madison College at Michigan State University and a J.D. from William and Mary School of Law (Order of the Coif). He is a member of the American Bar Association. Cynthia J. Black Svenson practices as a litigation attorney with the Firm. She was a Summer Associate in 2003. Cindy has a B.A. from Smith College and a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School. Detroit Leslie A. F. Calhoun practices in the corporate, real estate and banking groups. She was a Summer Associate with the Firm in 2003. While attending law school, Leslie served as a clerk for the Michigan Association for Children with Emotional Disorders in Southfield, Michigan. She has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D.(cum laude) from Wayne State University School of Law, where she was senior note and comment editor for the Law Review. Kyle S. Krywko practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation. He was a Summer Associate for the Firm in 2003. Kyle has a BGS from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School (cum laude) where he was a dean's scholar and a member of the Wayne Law Review. Markeisha J. Miner practices in the area of commercial litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anna Diggs Taylor, Senior U.S. District Judge. Markeisha has a B.A. (magna cum laude) from Mount Holyoke College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also has a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where she was executive editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law. Courtney E. Schafer practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation. She was a Summer Associate with the Firm in 2003. Courtney has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame (cum laude) and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law (cum laude) where she was the Senior Note Editor for the Law Journal. Toby A. White practices in the area of commercial litigation. He has a B.A. from the Honors College at Michigan State University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated with a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Grand Rapids Scott R. Murphy practices in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis in construction. He was a law clerk with McGuireWoods LLP in the summer of 2000 and was an Associate in their Jacksonville, Florida office for three years. He has a B.A. from Northern Michigan University and a J.D. from The Florida State University School of Law (with honors) where he was a three year member of the law review. Scott is also a member of the American Bar Association's construction law forum and a co-author of the Florida chapter on construction law, scheduled to be published next spring.
