Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that it will co-sponsor the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada’s “Breakfast, Network, and Learn” event on March 25, 2014. Put on by AmCham’s Peel-Halton-Niagara Chapter, the event will feature representatives of the U.S. Consulate General in Toronto who will discuss immigration, investment, and intellectual property issues. Specifically, Jingping Lai, the Consulate’s Chief of Treaty Trader and Investor Visas will discuss the U.S. Government’s enhanced process for obtaining E1/E-2 visas, and Matthew Stentz, the Consulate’s Homeland Security Investigations Attaché, who will address the U.S. government’s targeting of counterfeit goods at U.S. ports-of-entry. The event will provide information to potential investors into the U.S., as well as those companies that are witnessing counterfeit products (such as automotive) enter the supply chain.

The event will be held from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the International Center in Mississauga (6900 Airport Road). The state of Tennessee’s Economic and Community Development and SOFA are co-sponsoring the event with Dickinson Wright. For more information, please click here.
