Dickinson Wright PLLC recently named six attorneys members of the firm, effective January 1, 2009. Jeffrey R. Dobson, Jr. is an attorney in Dickinson Wright's Ann Arbor office. He focuses his practice in land use, zoning and real estate law, and commercial and business litigation. Mr. Dobson is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. He holds a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Peter J. Kulick is an attorney in the firm's Lansing office. He focuses his practice in taxation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and municipal law and finance. Mr. Kulick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association and the Ingham County Bar Association, and is an associate member of the American Inns of Court. He holds a B.A. in Public Administration from Michigan State University, a J.D. (summa cum laude) from Michigan State University-Detroit College of Law, and a LL.M. in Tax Law from New York University. Craig A. Phillips is an attorney in the firm's Bloomfield Hills office. He focuses his practice in intellectual property, business technology, and information technology and security law. Mr. Phillips is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Hope College, and J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. Sherry D. O'Neal is an attorney in the firm's Detroit office. She focuses her practice in commercial and business litigation, labor and employment relations, and ERISA litigation. She is a member of the Wolverine Bar Association and currently sits on the Clerkship and Scholarship committees. She also is a member of the American Bar Association, Detroit Metropolitan Bar, NAACP, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, Minority Corporate Counsel Association and the State Bar of Michigan, where she serves on the Character and Fitness Committee. She holds a B.S. in criminal justice from Wayne State University and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. Michael D. Socha is a member in Dickinson Wright's Detroit office. He focuses his practice in commercial, business and product liability litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. Wright is a member in the firm's Bloomfield Hills office. He focuses his practice in intellectual property.
