The law firm of Dickinson Wright today announced that Kester K. So, a Member in the Firm's Lansing office has recently been re-elected by Governor Granholm to the Council of Labor and Economic Development for a term expiring April 30, 2009. The Council is involved in advancing Michigan's workforce and economic development strategies and is comprised of a number of business, labor and government leaders. Mr. So practices in the area of municipal finance and municipal utility law and has been involved in many economic development projects throughout Michigan. He is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, the Vice Chairperson of the Public Law Corporation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and also is a member of Dickinson Wright's Governing Board. He received his A.B. with high distinction from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
