Dickinson Wright Attorney Dan Ujczo and US, Canadian, and Mexican Border Officials to Speak at NAFTA Compliance Seminar

As companies continue to export their goods/services to Canada and Mexico, it is necessary to understand how NAFTA customs and border compliance can play a role in the success of your business. On May 22nd, Dickinson Wright Attorney Dan Ujczo will join US, Canadian, and Mexican customs officials to speak about these issues at the “NAFTA Customs and Border Compliance Seminar” in Twinsburg, Ohio.

At this seminar, participants will learn what happens when goods arrive at the border, and understand the requirements you must meet to successfully export your products across the border. Participants will also learn and understand how to apply NAFTA rules for everyday transactions.

Dan Ujczo is Of Counsel in Dickinson Wright’s Columbus office. He specializes in international trade and customs issues with a particular emphasis on Canada-U.S. trade and policy matters. He presently advocates on behalf of the Canadian government on Canada – Ohio issues, as well as collaborates with industry association and public policy experts on matters relating to Canada’s regulatory reform efforts in the energy sector. Mr. Ujczo previously served as an Officer at the Consulate General of Canada-Detroit addressing Canada-US regulatory and border security issues.
