January 30, 2015
Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Attorney Dan Ujczo has been named the President of the newly-established Ohio-Canada Business Association (OH-CAN).

OH-CAN emerged from this week’s “Canada Days in Ohio” and followed a call to action made by Canadian Consul General Douglas George, Quebec’s Representative to the US Midwest Eric Marquis, and Columbus 2020’s Chief Economic Officer Kenny McDonald during the Columbus Metropolitan Club’s weekly forum addressing Canada-US issues. “This organization exemplifies Dickinson Wright’s commitment to serving clients with business interests in Canada and Ohio,” said Dan Ujczo. “As the leading law firm serving companies with interests in both nations, it is critical that we facilitate a collaborative environment for clients who want to trade and invest in both Ohio and Canada.”

“We are proud of the positive work Dan Ujczo does for our US/Canadian clients in cross-border transactions,” said Columbus Partner Harlan Robins. “Dickinson Wright’s Canada-US platform is enhanced by Dan’s historic knowledge and experience, and his superior ability to place client needs first, through match-making, administrative and business channels.”

Dickinson Wright has over 400 attorneys serving American and Canadian clients, with over 40 attorneys working regularly on both sides of the border. Dickinson Wright’s Columbus office is the fastest growing law firm in Columbus, it began with 2 attorneys in 2012 and has grown to 17 attorneys in a short period of time.
