Attorney Dan Ujczo Named to the National Board of the American Chambers of Commerce in Canada

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Dan Ujczo, Of Counsel in the firm’s Columbus office and coordinator of Dickinson Wright’s Canada-US Platform, has been appointed to the National Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AM-CHAM Canada).

AM-CHAM Canada is part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which includes more than 117 American Chambers of Commerce in 103 countries around the globe. With seven chapters located throughout Canada, AM-CHAM Canada is committed to promoting trade opportunities, advancing economic growth, and facilitating the mobility of people, goods and services across the longest safe and secure border in the world. Other National Board members include entities such as Fed-Ex, KPMG, and PNC Bank.

Dan is an international trade and customs lawyer who has devoted nearly two decades to assisting Canada-US companies. He regularly assists businesses on issues such as customs and regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, business immigration, intellectual property protection, and financial incentives. Dan also provides public policy counsel to government officials and industry leaders on matters relating to Canada-US regulatory cooperation, border security and management, trade and investment attraction initiatives, government procurement, and public-private-partnerships.

Dan has served in the US and Canadian governments, as well as managed a large Canada-US association comprised of leading corporate executives, in-house counsel, scholars and the media. Dan is the President of the Ohio-Canada Business Association (OH-CAN) and a board member of the Great Lakes Manufacturing Council.
