Corporate Attorney Kelly Frey Joins Dickinson Wright PLLC

Dickinson Wright LLP is pleased to announce that Kelly L. Frey has joined the firm as a member in its Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Nashville office.
Mr. Frey regularly counsels large companies across the United States, and the vendors to those companies, with respect to corporate transactions and corporate compliance. He is the author of the legal practice guide, Frey on Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions, and has been named as co-inventor on patent applications filed by his clients. Mr. Frey also assists clients in developing, protecting, buying and selling information technology products, services and new media/content.
He has published articles across a breadth of technology topics in a variety of publications from law reviews to scientific publications. Kelly has also served as an adjunct instructor at both the college and law school levels and serves as counsel to the Board of the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2007.
Prior to joining Dickinson Wright, Mr. Frey was responsible for both legal support and strategic development initiatives for the Copyright Clearance Center, one of the first audio download companies, one of the first social networking sites and one of the first U.S. manufactures of personal computers. He received a B.A. and M.S. from Vanderbilt University and J.D. from The University of Tennessee.
