Caps for Kids Reelects C. John Holmquist as National President

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, Caps For Kids, an international non-profit organization headquartered in New Orleans and dedicated to providing headwear signed by athletes, entertainers and other notable personalities to children, adolescents and young adults with cancer who lose their hair as a result of their medical treatment has reelected John Holmquist president. Holmquist is a labor and employment attorney with Dickinson Wright PLLC's Bloomfield Hills office and resides with his wife in Birmingham, Michigan. He is an alumnus of Duke University and Emory University Law School. Holmquist was first elected in 2000 and has overseen several significant developments in the organization. During his first term, Caps For Kids hired a director of operations and a programs director, produced an informational video sponsored by General Motors, established a Web site, www.capsforkids.org and began publishing Hat Chat - the organization's biannual newsletter. Caps For Kids is currently serving 70 chapters throughout the United States including four programs in Canada and one in Frankfurt, Germany.
