Bruce C. Thelen to Speak at University of Michigan European Business Conference

DETROIT, Mich. ( January 28, 2004) – Bruce C. Thelen, a Member of Dickinson Wright PLLC, will speak on the topic of "Governance and Corporate Responsibility" at the European Business Conference on Friday, January 30, 2004, hosted by the University of Michigan's European Business Club and European Student Association. The conference will be held in Hale Auditorium at the University of Michigan Business School in Ann Arbor.
The European Business Conference seeks to increase knowledge sharing and networking opportunities among business leaders and the academic community, as well as to discuss important topics about business paradigms in Europe and America. Mr. Thelen, together with corporate governance experts from law and academia, will discuss the accountability of corporate boards of directors and their role in managing and protecting the interests of employees and shareholders.
Bruce C. Thelen, a leading international corporate attorney, has over 25 years of experience in international business, banking and finance, and business organizations and corporate governance. He is the President of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, past chairman of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and is the chairman on Financial Aspects of International Sales for the International Bar Association of London.
