Attorney Mark Heusel Comments on His Work with the Humane Society of Huron Valley

January 14, 2015
Dickinson Wright Attorney Mark Heusel recently spoke to Legal News about his involvement with the Humane Society of Huron Valley. In “Pet Project: Legal Eagles Use Their Skills to aid Humane Society of Huron Valley”, Mark and several other local attorneys in Washtenaw County talk about their involvement with the organization, ranging from capital campaigns to pro bono legal cases as well as serving on the board of directors.

“I’ve loved my time on the board,” says Mark, who served for eight years including time as vice president and chairman of the board. “The cause is tremendous but the people who make it happen are priceless. Without the tireless and loving care of these stewards, the organization would not be nearly as successful.”

Along with serving on the board, Mark was heavily involved in legal aspects of the organization’s new facility as well as negotiations regarding the services contract that HSHV has with Washtenaw County.
