Attorney Grace K. Trueman Recognized as 2012 Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation Scholar

Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Grace K. Trueman was recognized as a 2012 Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation Scholar. Honorees are women law students who demonstrate leadership capabilities, service to their community, a commitment to diversity and potential for advancing the position of women in society.
Ms. Trueman is an Associate in the firm’s Detroit office. She began working at Dickinson Wright in the fall of 2012 and focuses her practice in the areas of labor & employment litigation, insurance & ERISA litigation, antitrust & trade regulation, and commercial & business litigation. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and is a Certified General Civil Mediator through the Wayne Mediation Center. Ms. Trueman also is a volunteer at Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles (O.A.T.S.) in Clarkston, Mich. She received her B.A. with high honors from Michigan State University and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Dickinson Wright Women’s Network is a consistent supporter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation Scholarships. For the sixth consecutive year, the Dickinson Wright Women’s Network will fund a scholarship reserved for a student who has demonstrated leadership capabilities in advancing the position of women in society, in business and in the community. For 2013, the award will go to a student attending the University of Michigan Law School.
