Attorneys Salina M. Hamilton, Scott A. Petz, Michelle L. Alamo and Ariana F. Deskins Publish an Article on Attorney-Client Privilege Protections and Employer-Provided Technology in the MDTC Quarterly

Dickinson Wright Attorneys Salina Hamilton, Scott Petz, Michelle Alamo and Ariana Deskins have written an article that was recently published in the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel’s Michigan Defense Quarterly. The article, titled “Attorney-Client Privilege Protections and Employer-Provided Technology: When Does the Employee’s ‘Expectation of Privacy’ End and When Do You, As Counsel, Have an Obligation to Warn the Client?” examines how employees’ communications with their personal counsel could lose their privileged status if the communications were generated with employer-provided technology.
