Archer Elected to Compuware Board

Dickinson Wright Chairman Dennis W. Archer Joins Compuware Board

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - Dickinson Wright PLLC Member and Chairman Dennis W. Archer, 60, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Compuware Corporation on January 7, 2002. Referring to Mr. Archer's in-depth experience in business, legal and political arenas, Compuware Chairman and CEO Peter Karmanos, Jr. said, "His experience in the public and private sectors will prove to be an extremely valuable resource as we continue to work to increase our revenues and earnings." Archer has been named one the 100 Most Influential Black Americans by Ebony magazine and one of the 100 Most Powerful Attorneys in the United States by the National Law Journal. He is currently director of the American Bar Association's (ABA) finance committee and is unopposed in his bid for the presidency of the ABA.
