BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan (October 10, 2006) — The law Firm of Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Alissa Goldfaden has joined the Firm's Bloomfield Hills office. Alissa practices in the areas of taxation, corporate, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. As part of her practice, she counsels public and private entities and high net worth individuals concerning business planning and state and local tax matters. Alissa also counsels developers and investors with respect to the structure and other tax aspects of real estate transactions and assists clients with the structuring of business formations, mergers and acquisitions. Admitted to practice in the state of Michigan, Alissa sits on the Taxation, Business and Real Property Sections of the Michigan State Bar, as well as the Real Property Law Section Pro Bono Committee. She is also a member of the Oakland County and American Bar Associations' Taxation Sections. Alissa earned her A.B. in Psychology and Honors Communication-Journalism from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She earned her LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. She resides in West Bloomfield.
