Sixth Annual Public Procurement Law

Join Dickinson Wright Lawyer Brenda Swick for the 6th Annual Public Procurement Law on September 9-10, 2015 at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto.

This two-day workshop will explore leading-edge best practices related to public procurement. Participants will learn about the latest developments in procurement law; discover how to ensure compliance and minimize the legal risks; examine how to manage the risk in public procurement projects; gain a better understanding of the proper structure of a bid evaluation; and more.

Ms. Swick will lead two courses during the workshop: “Ensuring Openness, Fairness and Transparency in the Process” and “Impact of Trade Agreements & CITT Decisions”. In her first class, she will examine the requirements of ensuring fairness and transparency in the public procurement process. The second session will examine key trade agreement provisions concerning public procurement and offer practical advice for ensuring compliance.

Ms. Swick is a Partner at Dickinson Wright LLP in Toronto. Her practice focuses on government contracting law, international trade, anti-corruption, defense trade controls and government relations.
