2014 North American Competitiveness and Innovation Conference

Join Dickinson Wright Attorney Dan Ujczo for the 2014 North American Competitiveness and Innovation Conference on October 30-31, 2014 at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

Addressing the theme “Vision to Action” this prestigious event will feature the participation of Penny Pritzker, U.S. Secretary of Commerce; Ildefonso Guajardo, Mexican Secretary of Economy; and Ed Fast, Canadian Minister of International Trade; and other senior government and business officials from the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Mr. Ujczo will be a speaker on the “Border Facilitation” panel alongside Christina Falcone, VP of Public Affairs for UPS Canada and James Clark, Executive Director, San Diego of the Tijuana Smart Border Coalition. This panel will explore how to more efficiently facilitate trade and travel across our shared frontiers in an environment of complex security challenges and accelerating technology. The panel will be moderated by Eric Miller, Canadian Council of Chief Executives.

The 2014 North American Competitiveness and Innovation Conference is organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada and the Canadian International Council in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce and Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development, Canada. NACIC 2014 will bring together senior officials, policy experts and business executives who will contribute to the development and advancement of a “North American Work Plan” for competitiveness and innovation.
