Dickinson Wright PLLC attorneys Dennis W. Archer, Edward H. Pappas, and Kathleen A. Lang will speak at the DRI Business Litigation & Intellectual Property Seminar on May 16 – 18th at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City.
Dennis W. Archer will address the seminar with a presentation called “Voir Dire: It’s a Conversation, Not a Cross-Examination” on Friday, May 18th. A seasoned trial lawyer who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and other complex litigation, he will discuss how to conduct voir dire of diverse jurors to find your friends and ascertain problems.
Edward H. Pappas will address the group on Thursday, May 18th with a presentation called “Advanced Arbitration Issues”. His presentation focuses on challenging arbitration topics, including appealing arbitration awards, arbitration ethics, effective arbitration techniques for a changing world and enforcing arbitration clauses.
Kathleen A. Lang serves as Program Chair and Committee Vice Chair for the DRI Business Litigation and Intellectual Property Seminar. She will welcome the participants to this year’s seminar on Thursday, May 17th.
