Canada-US Regulatory Cooperation Council Roundtable

On January 28, 2015, Dickinson Wright will host the Canada-US Regulatory Cooperation Council (RCC) Roundtable featuring Robert Carberry, Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Regulatory Cooperation Council, Privy Council Office of Canada, and Ohio-based companies to discuss regulatory issues between Canada and the US. Mr. Carberry will discuss the Regulatory Cooperation Council initiative launched by US President Barack Obama and Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper that will reduce red tape by making regulations in a range of sectors more compatible and less burdensome in both countries – which is especially important for small businesses. The event will proceed with expert commentary from Kelly Johnston, Vice President of Government of Affairs for Campbell Soup Company. Participating companies will have the opportunity for open dialogue with Mr. Carberry to discuss challenges and opportunities presented by Canada-US regulatory matters.
