Canada-US Regulatory Cooperation Council (RCC) Roundtable: On January 28, 2015, Dickinson Wright will host in Columbus, Ohio, Robert Carberry, Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Regulatory Cooperation Council, Privy Council Office of Canada, for a roundtable with Ohio-based companies to discuss regulatory issues between Canada and the US. Mr. Carberry will discuss the Regulatory Cooperation Council initiative launched by US President Barack Obama and Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper that will reduce red tape by making regulations in a range of sectors more compatible and less burdensome in both countries – which is especially important for small businesses.
