Mikhail Murshak

Mikhail is an intellectual property lawyer located in Dickinson Wright’s Lansing office. His practice focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and litigation. He has counseled clients and secured patents for a wide variety of technology areas including chemical engineering, bio-based alternative fuel technology, medical devices, automotive, hybrid vehicles, data communication architecture, material science, polymer chemistry, nanotechnologies, microwave-based material synthesis, aerospace, consumer products, and much more. Mr. Murshak has provided strategic counseling related to infringement studies, claim analysis in preparing for litigation, counseling expert witnesses, and other aspects of patent disputes.

Before joining Dickinson Wright he practiced intellectual property counseling specializing in all aspects of patent law in both large and small private practice law firms in Michigan and Connecticut.

Prior to private practice, he worked as an intellectual property strategic analyst for an aerospace fortune 100 company managing an innovation strategy group’s patent portfolio.

He has presented many times to student organizations and area entrepreneurial groups on topics including careers in patent law, patent basics, intellectual property overview and trademark strategy.

Mr. Murshak is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
