PROMINENT ASSIGNMENTS

Member of litigation team for AT&T Mobility LLC in patent infringement action in the Eastern District of Texas involving the routing of wireless E911 calls. Succeeded in obtaining very favorable claim construction ruling that led to quick resolution of case.

Member of litigation team for AT&T Mobility LLC in patent infringement matter in the District of Delaware involving the sale of digital content, such as ringtones, over the Internet.

Michigan counsel for Google Inc. in patent infringement matter involving videophone interactive mailbox facility systems pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Michigan counsel for Novo Nordisk A/S and Hospira, Inc. in pending ANDA/Hatch-Waxman matters in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Member of litigation team for Federal-Mogul Corporation in patent infringement action in the Eastern District of Michigan involving friction-welded steel pistons.

Lead counsel for Ford Motor Company in supplier defamation and tortious interference case. Succeeded in obtaining summary disposition of all claims in pending circuit court action and related arbitration.

Member of trial team for Ford Motor Company in multi-million dollar contract action resulting in no cause of action following four week arbitration, affirmed on appeal. Responsibilities included discovery, witness examination, and legal briefing.

Co-counsel for ArvinMeritor Inc. in multi-million dollar breach of warranty action to recoup costs related to defective tie rod assemblies. Successfully settled matter on behalf of ArvinMeritor after discovery and without protracted litigation.

Counsel for Walter Toebe Construction Company in million dollar construction delay case against MDOT involving the Davison Freeway. Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of Walter Toebe following deposition of MDOT's key project personnel.

Member of trial team for Ford Motor Company in billion dollar supplier action with RICO and antitrust claims. Responsibilities included discovery, expert witness supervision, and drafting and argument of dispositive and discovery motions, which ultimately led to complete dismissal of all claims against Ford.

Co-counsel for Federal-Mogul in supplier breach of warranty and trade secret case. Successfully obtained voluntary dismissal of trade secret claim following opponent's corporate deposition.

Co-counsel for Walter Toebe Construction Company on construction delay claim against steel supplier on Gateway 4 Project. Matter was settled in Walter Toebe's favor following key corporate representative depositions.
