Dickinson Wright PLLC Member Robert W. Stocker II, a nationally recognized expert on gaming, corporate and insurance law, will be a featured speaker at the 2007 International Conference presented by the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), March 11 – 13, 2007, at the Westin La Paloma Resort, Tucson, Arizona.

The conference, titled "Captives Drive the Next Generation: Advancement and Innovation", will cover a range of topics geared toward professionals who own, manage or provide services to captive insurance and risk retention groups. Mr. Stocker will participate in a March 13 panel focused on the issue of Compliance, including a discussion of what captives need to know to ensure they are meeting the standards that regulators are setting. About the speaker
Mr. Stocker focuses his practice on gaming, corporate and insurance law, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and is a Founding Member and Vice President of the International Masters of Gaming Law.

An established author on Gaming Law, Mr. Stocker is an Editorial Board Member of the Gaming Law Review and a member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Legal Authors Society. He
co-authored two books including the Guidebook to Conducting Business in Michigan in 2002 and the Overview of Gaming in Michigan in 1998. In 2002, he authored the Captive Insurance Manual. Mr. Stocker is listed in the current and previous editions of Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers.
